Preservation of Monuments and Historical and Cultural Heritage Sites

The department is housed in the building of a former Muslim school from the late 19th century, an architectural monument and one of the recognizable examples of wooden architecture in old Astana.

The division holds lectures, tours, and themed events at the city's monuments and memorial complexes.
